                        Coffee Cake

                             You will need

 

 

                       250g Butter 

                               250g Sugar 

                               250g Flour

                               5 Eggs 

                               8g Baking Powder 

                               2 g Salt 

                               15 g Instant coffee 

                               Water  

 

                                Method
 

                     1. Sift the flour, baking powder and the salt together.
                     2. Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl,
                         until the mixture is pale and fluffy. 
                     3. Gradually beat the eggs [add the eggs one at a time,   
                         beating well after each addition.]
                     4. Add the coffee in to the water.
                     5. Pour in to the butter milk.
                     6. Stir the shifted flour with butter milk.
