                Dates Cake

                             You will need

 

 

                            250g Butter
                                     250gSugar
                                     250g Flour
                                     5 Eggs
                                     500g Dates
                                     50g Raisins
                                     50g Cashew nut
                                    8g Baking Powder 
                                     2g Salt
                                     10ml Vanilla
                                     5g Bicarbonate of soda

 
                                Method
 

                     1. Cut the dates in to small pieces[without seeds] 
                     2. Add some water to Bicarbonate of soda and Combine
                         with the date’s pieces
                     3. Keep it for 12 hours.
                     4. Sift the flour, baking powder and the salt together.
                     5. Pre heat the oven 180°C
                     6. Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl,
                          until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
                     7.Gradually beat in the eggs, add the eggs one at a time,
                         beating well after each addition.
                     8. Fold in the sifted flour using a metal spoon.
                     9. Finley mix the date’s.
                    10.Transfer the mixture to prepared cake tin. 
                    11. Bake it in 160°C for 45 minutes.
