                        Fruit Cake

                          You will need

 

 

                       200g Butter 

                              200g Sugar

                              200g Flour 

                              3 Eggs 

                             15g Baking Powder   

                             2g Salt

                             10ml Vanilla 

                             5g Bicarbonate of soda 

                             850g Mixed dry fruits 

                             175g Chopped mixed nuts 

                             10g Mix spice 
 
   

 
                                Method

                      1. Sift the flour, baking powder and the salt together.
                      2. Pre heat the oven 180°C .
                      3. Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl,
                          until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
                      4. Gradually beat the eggs. [add the eggs one at a time 
                         beating well after each addition]
                      5. Add the mix fruits, nuts, spice and sifted flour
                         in to the butter milk.

                      6. Stir the mixture using a wooden spoon.

                      7. Transfer the mixture to prepared cake tin.

                      6. First bake the cake in 160°C for one hour
